The Mariemont Warriors varsity volleyball team fought back from a second-set loss to beat Batavia in five sets Monday, Sept. 28, at Mariemont High School.

The Warriors dropped the second set 22-25 but answered with a 25-19 win in the third. The match stretched to a decisive fifth set, where Mariemont pulled out a 15-13 victory.

Mariemont athletic director Tom Nerl tracked the match on X, posting set-by-set updates throughout the evening.

Mariemont returns to its home court Tuesday, Sept. 29, for a Cincinnati Hills League matchup against Deer Park at Mariemont High School.
