Turpin boys soccer plays at Lebanon on Thursday, Oct. 15, in one of the Spartans' final regular-season games before the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) postseason.
The Spartans entered October unbeaten at 11-0-4, with wins over West Clermont, 1-0, and La Salle, 3-1, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. The Enquirer named junior Connor Denning the team's hard hat award winner for the week of Oct. 5 after he helped Turpin to a pair of wins and a share of first place in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference.
On Oct. 7, the Spartans led Loveland 2-1 at halftime in an ECC matchup, with goals from Sam Harding and Austin Harding, according to the Turpin Spartans athletics account on X. A final score was not available.
The Enquirer's final Greater Cincinnati boys soccer power rankings noted that OHSAA tournaments begin next week for many Southwest Ohio teams. No kickoff time was listed on the Turpin athletics website for Thursday's game.
