On the issues
Faber's campaign website outlines several priorities. All positions below are the candidate's own stated views.
Consumer protection and public safety: Faber said he will increase enforcement against predatory companies and cybercriminals that target vulnerable Ohioans, especially seniors facing financial exploitation. He said he will hold businesses accountable for deceptive practices and educate the public about their rights.
Drug epidemic: Faber said he will address Ohio's drug crisis by reducing demand through addiction treatment services, prosecuting suppliers, cutting off supply chains at the border and supporting recovery efforts for victims.
Human trafficking: Faber said he will work with law enforcement, nonprofits, faith groups and community leaders to identify trafficking networks and prosecute offenders. He said he will expand access to recovery services, safe housing and job training for survivors.
Immigration and border security: Faber said he will address the impact of illegal immigration and cartel activity on Ohio communities by supporting President Trump's strict border security policies. He said he will fight against federal policies that undermine state authority.
Government accountability: In a 2017 campaign page, Faber said he would work to make commonly requested public records available online for 24-hour access. He has also said he will defend Ohio against what he called federal overreach by unelected bureaucrats whose decisions hurt families and businesses.
