Anderson Township families can plan for trick-or-treat on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.
WLWT's regional trick-or-treat guide, published Wednesday, Oct. 7, listed Anderson Township alongside more than two dozen Greater Cincinnati communities with the same 6-to-8 p.m. window. The guide, compiled by WLWT reporter Matthew Dietz, noted the list may be updated as more communities announce hours.
Anderson Township's official website had not posted a separate trick-or-treat announcement as of Thursday, Oct. 8. Residents can check AndersonTownshipOH.gov for official confirmation.
Trick-or-treat hours for Mariemont and Newtown had not been officially posted as of Oct. 8, according to the community-tracking site FrightMaps. Mariemont and Newtown both held trick-or-treat from 6 to 8 p.m. last year. Terrace Park's 2026 hours had not appeared in any public listing as of Oct. 8.
Halloween falls on a Saturday in 2026, giving families a full weekend evening without a school-night curfew.
Before the big night, the Anderson Park District has two family-friendly events on the calendar. Tricks & Treats at MariMac Pumpkin Patch takes place Friday, Oct. 16, at W.M. Johnson Hills Park, with time slots starting at 4 p.m. Children age 10 and under can trick-or-treat along a trail, enjoy music and s'mores by the campfire, and take home a small pumpkin. Tickets are $12 per child and $2 per adult. Advance registration is required, and space is limited. Details are at andersonparks.com.
The park district also hosts a free Pumpkin Picture Show & Costume Parade on Saturday, Oct. 24, for children ages 10 and under, featuring a costume parade, Halloween-themed short films and activities.
