Anderson Township residents can get face-to-face help with water bills, payment plans and service requests at a pop-up event Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Anderson Branch Library.
Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) is bringing its customer support team to the library at 7450 State Road from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., according to an Anderson Township announcement published by Steve Sievers on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Staff will be on hand to answer questions, process payments and help residents navigate payment assistance programs and work order requests.
Work orders cover service issues such as repairs or maintenance that customers need GCWW to address at their property. The pop-up gives residents a chance to start or follow up on those requests without calling in.
Payment help on the table
The visit could be especially useful for customers behind on their bills. GCWW's online portal states that qualifying customers may receive an instant credit of up to $2,000 toward a past-due balance. Interest-free payment plans are also available. Residents who want to ask about eligibility can do so in person at the Sept. 15 event.
GCWW is the water provider for a large swath of the region, serving roughly 243,000 residential and commercial accounts that represent at least 1.1 million customers. The service area covers the entire City of Cincinnati, most of Hamilton County, and parts of Butler and Warren counties in Ohio and Boone County in Kentucky. Anderson Township falls within that footprint.
The pop-up offers an alternative for residents who prefer in-person help over a phone call or the online portal. GCWW's main customer service line, 513.591.7700, operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
