Ten local restaurants, a live musician and a town crier will take over the median west of Mariemont's Village Square on the evening of Monday, Aug. 31, when the Mariemont Preservation Foundation hosts its annual Taste of Mariemont.
The event runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Admission is free, according to the Foundation; guests purchase food directly from vendors.
Boards & Beez, Dilly, Emery, Graeter's Ice Cream, Jersey Mike's Subs, LaRosa's Pizzeria, Mango Tree Thai & Sushi, National Exemplar, Quarter Bistro and Sweeterie will all serve from booths along the median, according to the Foundation's announcement. Mariemont Boy Scouts Troop #149 will sell roasted corn-on-the-cob, and the Foundation itself will hand out popcorn and cotton candy.
Jon Aiken returns as the evening's live performer, presented by the National Exemplar. Aiken also played the 2025 edition of the festival.
Town Crier Bob Keyes will make a special appearance, reprising a role he filled at last year's event.
For kids, Village Church of Mariemont is running Musical Mats, Mariemont Players will offer face painting at their Walton Creek Theatre booth, and organizers promise temporary tattoos and interactive booths from other local groups.
The Foundation moved the festival to the Village Square median in 2025, billing it as a new location at the time, and the spot is now the event's established home.
No registration is required. Residents can walk up starting at 4:30 p.m.
