The Turpin Spartans play their 2026 home opener Friday, Aug. 28, against Little Miami at Turpin Spartan Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The game doubles as Elementary Rock the Stands Night, an event designed to pack the stadium with local elementary school students and their families. Turpin Athletics announced the themed night on its website Friday. Tickets are available through goturpin.com/special-events/.

The Spartans enter at 0-1 after a 31-10 loss at Archbishop McNicholas on Aug. 21. WLWT named that McNicholas victory its "Big Win of the Week." Little Miami comes in at 1-0.

Turpin's Eastern Cincinnati Conference record stands at 0-0. The ECC schedule has not yet begun for the Spartans.

After Friday's matchup, Turpin travels to Walnut Hills on Friday, Sept. 4, for a 7 p.m. kickoff. The Spartans return home Sept. 25 against West Clermont for Homecoming. Forest Hills School District announced in a June 26 post on X that the Homecoming game will mark 50 years of Turpin High School, with pre-game festivities planned.
