Turpin's girls tennis team travels to Lebanon on Monday, Sept. 14, for the Spartans' 10th match of the 2026 fall season.

Sophomore Makayla Malone leads the lineup. She was 6-0 in first singles as of the week ending Sept. 6, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer's athlete-of-the-week poll. Malone posted wins against Winton Woods, St. Ursula and Lakota East earlier in the season.

She faces a Lebanon program that opened strong. Warriors first singles player Cara Marshall was 5-0 through the week ending Aug. 23, according to the Enquirer, with victories over Fenwick, Centerville and Milford. Her record since then has not been reported.

Turpin has played nine matches since opening Aug. 20 at Walnut Hills, facing opponents including Summit Country Day, Anderson and West Clermont, according to the Turpin Athletics website. Scores and team records were not available.
