Anderson Township’s free drop-off recycling center on Beechmont Avenue will close Monday, Nov. 9, and will not be relocated.

Construction on a new Public Works facility will begin later this fall, according to Anderson Township’s Nov. 4 announcement. The township urges residents to use recycling offered through their curbside or subscription trash services.

The township also says it is working with apartment and condominium owners to develop on-site recycling options.

Another drop-off option

The Clermont County Transfer Depot, at 5180 Champions Way off Roundbottom Road near Milford, accepts regular Rumpke recycling items at no cost.

Solid waste, construction debris, furniture and appliances carry disposal fees, according to the township’s notice.

The depot is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. to noon Saturdays. Drivers going to the recycling bins should keep right when entering; they do not need to enter the scale area.

The township also directs residents to Hamilton County ReSource for information about other recycling locations.
