Democrat Jessica E. Miranda won reelection as Hamilton County auditor without an opponent listed in the county’s Nov. 3 election results.

The Hamilton County Board of Elections’ unofficial report recorded 226,758 votes for Miranda: 88,648 in the early-voting category and 138,110 in the Election Day category.

The report was timestamped 11:27 p.m. Nov. 3 and listed all 563 precincts reporting. Miranda was the only candidate recorded in the auditor contest. Her total represents votes cast in that race, rather than all ballots cast countywide; some voters left the contest blank.

Seeking a full term

According to her campaign biography, Miranda was appointed auditor in 2024 and elected later that year to complete an unexpired term. She previously represented Ohio House District 28 and served as Ohio House Democratic whip.

The biography also identifies her as a former president of the Winton Woods City School Board and a small-business owner providing insurance and tax services.

Her campaign says she has focused on modernizing the auditor’s office, improving access to services and advocating property tax reform and relief. Those are the campaign’s descriptions of her record and priorities.

The Nov. 3 results remain unofficial pending the post-election canvass and certification. The county report’s precinct-completion figure does not make the tally a certified final result.
