Anderson Township Fire & Rescue is accepting new, unwrapped toys and nonperishable food through Saturday, Dec. 5, for its annual Stuff the Medic holiday donation drive.
Residents can drop off donations at any of the three Anderson Township fire stations or the Newtown Fire Station, according to the township's Nov. 2 announcement.
The items will be distributed to local families through Inter Parish Ministry, now known as IPM Food Pantry. The township said the community donated 973 items during last year's drive.
Capt. Doug Eagan encouraged residents to participate again this year, the announcement said.
One drop-off location is the Beechmont Fire Station, Station 6, at 7954 Beechmont Ave. The township's station information page identifies it as the department's operations center.
