DE LA Dance Company opens its 2026-27 season with Coppélia, the classic comic ballet, at the Anderson Center Theater in Anderson Township.
The Anderson Center events page lists a performance on Sunday, Oct. 11, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at 7850 Five Mile Rd. The company's own website lists the production running Oct. 8–17, though specific showtimes beyond the Oct. 11 matinee have not been posted on the Anderson Center calendar.
Based on a story by E.T.A. Hoffmann, Coppélia follows two villagers, Frantz and Swanilda, whose budding romance gets tangled up with their eccentric neighbor Dr. Coppélius. The toymaker has been building lifelike automatons and tries to bring his favorite doll to life.
The company posted a rehearsal preview video on its Facebook page on Sept. 8, offering a first look inside the production. That page also lists tickets starting at $30, though the company's ticket page did not confirm current pricing for Coppélia.

The Anderson Center Theater is the company's new performing home this season. DE LA Dance has scheduled four more full-length productions there in 2026-27, starting with The Nutcracker, Jazzed Up! running Nov. 27 through Dec. 5. The spring lineup includes Dance Cincinnati27, StudioWorks and Hansel and Gretel, with dates listed on the company's website.
