A new podcast episode from an Anderson Township nonprofit breaks down parent coaching and why families might consider it before turning to therapy.
Episode 35 of the "Step Up to Save Our Children" podcast, published Thursday, Sept. 10, features Step Up Anderson Township founder Denise Mayer in conversation with Kerry Brown, senior parenting specialist at Beech Acres Parenting Center.
According to the episode description, Brown and Mayer discuss parenting stress, sibling conflict and co-parenting challenges. They explore why many parents feel overwhelmed or isolated and how small shifts in communication and expectations can help at home.
Beech Acres, a Greater Cincinnati organization, grounds its programs in its Natural Strength Parenting framework. The center operated in Anderson Township for more than 70 years before relocating its headquarters to downtown Cincinnati.
Mayer, a 53-year Anderson Township resident, started the podcast to raise awareness about issues affecting young people.
